I'm excited to say that tonight I'm going out for a much needed night on the town in a city I haven't spent time in for a long while. Good girl image aside, I have one sort of "rebellious idol" who I channel on days like this, the one and only Katy Perry. She's different, she can actually sing well, and Teenage Dream has been bumping from my speakers for awhile now.
I probably should mention something about New Years Resolutions considering it is after all a brand new year. I've got to say, I don't really believe in them. I mean really, does anyone go through with it?
If I were to have one, I suppose it would be to man up and declare my major as Communications and Music. I don't know why I haven't. I know what I want in life, I just don't know if Communications is the right choice for what I want to do? (If you don't know what it is I wanna do, go back to blog post numero uno).
Basically, I'm going to walk into my advisors office, sit down and ask him to go on Wikipedia and type in the name of my hometown. Then I'm going to have him scroll down to the list of "Notable Residents" and ask - How do I get my name on that list?
That's my goal. I want to be notable.
Take a chance and don't ever look back...
Don't worry, county lovers, Taylor Swift and the Dixie Chicks will always be #1.
